Owner / Head Coach
Martial arts, along with strength training, have been two of the biggest gifts in my life. Gaining confidence, skill and peace in martial arts, while finding my strength and power in strength training, have helped mold me into the man I am today.
I have run a martial arts gym professionally for 15 years and it has become my true passion in life. I love watching others discover, learn and explore martial arts. The effect it has on everyone who trains, is profound.
I have been training martial arts for over 30 years, with black belts in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Japanese Jujitsu. I also have deep experience/rank in many other systems, including Kyokushin Karate, Boxing/Kickboxing, Wrestling, Judo, Arnis/Kali & Modern Combatives. I have competed in MMA, BJJ, No Gi, Kyokushin and Strongman.
My focus in now coaching students and athletes in MMA, Self-Defense and Submission Grappling. It is a great joy to see all of them progress and develop into strong, healthy, powerful men and women.
