Upon looking for an alternative workout to the regular gym routine, I contacted the JSA 6 months ago to learn more about their class offerings. Since I have no formal martial arts training or wrestling background I informed owner Matt Bryers that I was bit intimidated, but wanted to try Jiu Jitsu. Matt informed me that the school is built upon one principle, respect. Respect for the school and for the individuals that train at JSA are paramount to JSA’s success.
Matt informed me that all I had to do was show up and the JSA would take care of the rest, needless to say Matt was right. JSA offers many other classes and not only is it a great place to train Jiu Jitsu, JSA is also about training hard, meeting great training partners without egos, being taught by professionals and pushing yourself to the limit to better yourself both mentally and physically.
